Beaufort Park – Monday Night
Who are we for?
Beaufort Park is the highest standard of players within the club. This is the crème de la crème of the Beaufort Badminton Club, Bristol and beyond. This section is for the very advanced and elite players to play, with many playing within one or more of local leagues and some even playing at higher levels nationwide. The section has a mix of men’s, ladies and mixed teams that compete in various leagues and the standard across the section is extremely high.
As competitive as this section is, they are extremely friendly who are very welcoming towards other players. To join this section you must be an advanced/elite player who takes the sport seriously.
Where do we play?
Kingsdown Sports Centre,
Portland St,
Cotham,
BS2 8HL
A popular local sports centre and the courts are wood sprung flooring. Changing facilities are a good standard, with showers facilities and property lockers available. On site parking is available, but there are limited spaces.
Home matches are played at Kingsdown, either on a Wednesday at 1900 or a Thursday at 2000.
Beaufort Park are regular winners of Bristol League Division 1 men’s, ladies and mixed. Club standard is very high with regular Avon County main team players and Avon Masters players, including national and international champions.
What time is the session?
Every* Monday between 1900 – 2230
Matches are also on Thursdays usually starting at 1900
*We play every Monday except for bank holidays and Christmas.

Players joining two sections pay 150% of the higher charging section.
Visitors
You are more than welcome to come along and play as a visitor. The visitor fee is £9.00, which is payable by cash or card on the night. Please contact us beforehand to ensure that there is availability to play and so that we know who to expect on the night.
